Future plans:
Prezioso: “I will be attending Harvard this fall where I would like to study history, government, and biology. My love of history and government is rooted in how the two affect cultures, environments, and economic systems, and I find scientific investigation fascinating. I believe that bridging multiple academic disciplines has the power to unite perspectives to effect change, and I hope to combine a career as a physician working in public service to contribute to and positively impact healthcare. I also plan on playing for the Women’s Varsity Lacrosse Team.”
How do you describe leadership based on your service projects/academics/sports?
Prezioso: “I believe a leader is someone who is willing to answer the call to lead and therefore serve. In that willingness, they choose to identify and develop the qualities within themselves necessary to have a positive impact on people and the world around them. In doing so, they are able to tap into the best in others and work collectively to achieve common goals. From a personal standpoint, whether I help raise funds for a cause, collaborate within the classroom, tutor students, or shepherd a group of teammates on the lacrosse field, my hope is that I set an example for those around me and inspire them to become the best version of themselves whereby we benefit our community and society.”
How do you balance academics and athletics?
Prezioso: “My key to balancing academics and athletics is that I choose classes and a sport that I love. If you enjoy what you do, then disciplining yourself and managing your time effectively in order to accomplish what needs to be accomplished is manageable and fun.”
