Stephen Burke log:

Stephen Burke

High school: Moorestown High School

Graduation year: 2013

Position: Defense/LSM

College choice: Washington College

Club affiliations: Tri-State All-Stars, Quake Select

Major lacrosse honors, camps and showcases: 2011 NJ Group 3 State Champs; National Invitational 175; Champ Camp, BlueChip 225

What will you major in/study: Undecided

Why did you choose school: “Washington College is a great fit for me because of its location, academics, and its outstanding lacrosse history. Coach Jeff Shirk, Coach Chris Miller, and the rest of his staff have a great approach to the game, and the lacrosse facilities are exceptional.”

Outlook for your high school team next year: “We have a lot of talented returning players, including a very experienced senior class. This should culminate into a very strong season with aspirations of bringing home another State Championship to Moorestown.”

Other comments: “I would like to thank my family for all their support. Also, I would like to thank my high school coaches, Baron Wallenhurst and Jared Nutter, for their help, guidance and opportunities given to me. Finally, I would like to acknowledge all the various coaches I have had at the youth and Club level for their instruction in helping me become a better player.”
