What will you major in/study? Leaning toward psychology or sociology
Why did you choose school? “I chose it, first of all, because socially I fit in really well with the team. Lacrosse-wise, it’s hard to turn down, they are in the top 10 in the country every year. I’ve known coach (Chris) Bates and coach (Greg) Raymond since I was little. To top it all off, the academics didn’t hurt and it’s not too far from home. I meshed with the guys on the team and I like being surrounded with the guys out there.”
Other info: Older brother Colin was a two-time captain under Bates while playing at Drexel, where father Bob is the school’s all-time leading scorer and a Hall of Fame inductee.
What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “I’d say that winning the conference is expected. Making the state playoffs is probably one of biggest goals, and we’ll push as hard as we can to make some noise in the state playoffs, and go further than we’ve ever gone. Coach (Ryan) Greer has done great job in his 4-5 months, in pushing us hard and making us better. I think this year, especially with this senior class, the guys can make a push.”
Other comments: “I want to thank my family – my brother, and my dad, for helping me with lacrosse; my mom and sisters for pushing me and being there for me; (Dukes) Coach (Ebe) Helm and (Jason) Christmas and all the Dukes coaches; (former Abington) coach (Randy) McNeil and coach Greer. Also, thanks to coach Bates for helping me through the admissions process.”
Note: Ivy league student-athletes must complete the admissions process before official acceptance
