Maple Zone boys’ recruit: Ursinus gets commitment from Severna Park (MD) senior goalie Pasiuk

Severna Park High School (Md.) senior goalie Dylan Pasiuk has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Ursinus College.

College Choice: Ursinus College

Club Affiliation: Predator Lacrosse Club

Major lacrosse honors: 2012 Maryland Free State All-Star, 2012 Gait Cup All-Star, 2012 Gait Cup Champion, Top 205

Academic honors: National Honor Society, AP Scholar, Minds in Motion Athlete, It’s Academic team

What will you major in/study? Exercise and Sport Science

Why did you choose Ursinus? “I chose Ursinus because of the great coaching staff and the great academic reputation. After the overnight visit I knew that it was the right place for me. I am looking forward to playing for Coach (Jamie) Steele and the Ursinus coaching staff for the next four years.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next season? “We hope to have a great season at Severna Park. We have some really talented guys returning and will work hard to continue to be a contender for the Maryland State Championship.”

Additional comments: “I would like to thank my parents and family for supporting me during this process. I’d also like to thank family friend Lipton for the support. I’d like to thank my Predator coaches, Jay Kozireski, Andrew Taylor, and Connor Hunt for coaching me during the off-season. Lastly I’d like to thank Severna Park Coach Larry Kramer for the help and support over the last four years.”
