Moorestown (N.J.) senior midfielder Patrick Lynam has made a verbal commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Widener University.
Patrick Lynam log:
High School: Moorestown
Graduation Year: 2013
Position: Midfield
College Choice: Widener
Club Affiliation: Quake Lacrosse
Major lacrosse honors: BeanTown Classic, Blue Chip 225, New England Top 150
What will you major in/study? Nursing
Why did you choose Widener? “I chose Widener mainly because of their exceptional nursing program.
“After my first two visits, I knew Widener was my school of choice. Coach (Brendan) Dawson is doing a fantastic job making Widener a top competitor in D3 lacrosse. I am very excited to take part in, and contribute my skills to the team. I also found the guys on the team to be very welcoming and dedicated to the game, which I liked a lot.”
Outlook for your HS team next season? “Moorestown lost a lot of key seniors last year, but we have a very strong senior class this year and many skilled underclassmen to fill the positions. We hope to win our group, take a place in the Tournament of Champions, and win it all.”
Additional Comments: “I would like the thank my Mom and Dad for always pushing me to do greater things and always giving me 100% of their support.
“I would also like to thank my brother for helping me develop into the lacrosse player I am today.
“I’d like to thank Coach (Baron) Wallenhurst for recommending me for so many recruiting showcases and coaching me my four years in high school.”
