A general meeting of the EPSLA will be held at Harriton HS on Tuesday evening, December 4th, beginning at 7 pm.
All current HS coaches are invited and urged to attend. The EPSLA Executive Board recently met to discuss the future of our organization and unanimously recommended the adoption of the new by-laws.
These by-laws represent a re-organization of the Association and were first discussed at and revised after our February 2012 Association meeting. The most “functional” change will be the formation of a true coaches association, rather than a school sponsored coaches’ association.
The new Eastern PA Lacrosse Coaches Assocation (EPLCA) will be an open organization; all coaches are invited to help us meet the 3-fold purpose of the organization:
– To promote the successful growth of boys’ lacrosse throughout Eastern Pennsylvania
– To provide educational opportunities to all past, present, and future boys’ lacrosse coaches
– To properly recognize outstanding performances of High School (HS) players, HS coaches, and supporters of lacrosse in Eastern Pennsylvania
The EPLCA appreciates the support of this new direction and hopes coaches will attend this important meeting.
