Upper Dublin senior defender Stephanie Speese has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Franklin & Marshall College.
Stephanie Speese log:

High School: Upper Dublin High School
Graduation Year: June 2012
Position: Low Defense
College Choice: Franklin & Marshall
Club Affiliation: Ultimate Goal Lacrosse
Major lacrosse honors: First team All-Suburban One American; member of four-time league champions, 2011 state qualifier.
What will you major in/study? “I plan on going in undecided next year with the intent to major in geriatrics either in the medical or social aspect.”
Why did you choose this school? “As soon as I decided to play lacrosse in college, F&M caught my eye with its very intimate and personal setting of the small school atmosphere. When I went on my official visit, I loved the campus and the team was so nice and genuine. Coach (Lauren) Paul was another major factor; I love her coaching philosophy and cannot wait to learn from her next year.”
What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “My high school team has the potential next year to do really well and get far in playoffs. Last year, after making it so far we are so fortunate to have a strong senior class to lead the team, with four girls already committed to colleges for lacrosse.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank my high school coach, Coach Dee Cross, for encouraging and helping me with the recruiting process. Also, I’d like to thank my parents for supporting my decision and my club team for their help.”
