Tuesday’s Inter-Ac League girls’ roundup: Baldwin School, Episcopal Academy earn victories

Sloan Warren had seven goals and two assists to lead Baldwin School to a 15-14 victory over visiting Penn Charter Tuesday in Inter-Ac League girls’ lacrosse.

The Bears (3-1 overall, 1-1 league) also got three goals each from Jennie Wigrizer and Ali Thaler and six groundballs and three forced turnovers from Arden Simone.

Val Cohen earned the win 12 saves.

Blaine Steinberg had five goals and two assists and Kate Higgins scored four for the Quakers (4-2, 1-2).

Episcopal Academy 20, Germantown Academy 5

Taylor Trimble collected six goals and two assists and Lynda Michaels had four goals while Blake McHugh added three goals and two assists and Madison Craft scored three times for EA in the Inter-Ac League win. Claire MacManus keyed the defense with three interceptions.

Brooke Kiley led GA with three goals.
