Men’s recruit: Lehigh gets commitment from Seton Hall Prep (NJ) junior midfielder Toye

Seton Hall Prep (N.J.) junior midfielder Chester Toye has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Lehigh University.

Position: Midfield

College Choice: Lehigh University

Club Affiliation:
Tri-State Lacrosse

Major lacrosse honors, camps:
Loyola Shootout All-Star Team; attended Baltimore Summer Kickoff, King of the Hill, Champ Camp, UNC Team Camp, and Tri-State National.

Academic honors: Honor roll and Spanish Honor Society.

What will you major in/study? I plan to study either Engineering or Business.

Why did you choose this school? “I chose Lehigh for its prestigious Business and Engineering programs as well as the program’s phenomenal coaching staff. Its impressive campus and short distance from home were two factors that also influenced my decision.”

What is your HS team’s outlook for next year? “Seton Hall is going to have a very strong team this spring. We have a tremendous amount of talent at each and every position. I have no doubt in my mind that we have the ability to win both County and State Championships.”

Other Comments: “I would like to first thank God, my younger brother Mason, and my parents for helping me through this process. Also, I want to thank each and every coach who that has helped me throughout my years of playing lacrosse.”
