From Press Releases

Junior Kelly Condon (Abington) scored three goals and added an assist to help Marist overcome strong efforts by freshman Ana White (Strath Haven) and sophomore Jess Rothstein as it claimed a 13-12 double overtime victory Wednesday over Lafayette.

White scored her fourth goal of the game to force a tie in the first overtime. Rothstein added three goals and freshman Katie Mischler (Mount St. Joseph) had three draw controls. The Laopards were making their season debut; Marist is 1-1.

After Marist scored the first goal in the extra six-minute period, Lafayette sophomore attack Addie Godfrey scored on a free position shot to send the game into sudden victory. Marist won it when Ariel Kramer scored with 1:09 left in double overtime.

The Leopards will take the next two days to regroup before taking the field on Saturday at noon vs. La Salle. Face-off is set for 12 p.m. at Rappolt Field.
