Phillylacrosse.com salutes the accomplishments of the region’s girls’ lacrosse players with Day 3 of its All-Phillylacrosse.com choices. The players were selected with much input from region coaches.

Close Defenders

Alyssa Dunlap, Radnor, Sr.

US Lacrosse All-American (repeat choice) and Academic All-American, Under Armour All-American, Central League first-team pick … Was defensive anchor for the Red Raiders, who shared the Central League title, won the District 1 and PIAA championships and went 26-1 … She will play at Vanderbilt University.

Maggie Forker, Episcopal Academy, Jr.

Inter-Ac League first-team pick … Defensive anchor to EA team that won sixth straight league crown … Stood out at National Tournament for Philly 1 team … Has committed to Vanderbilt University.

Kimmy McCormick, Springfield-Delco, Sr.

Central League first-team pick … Glue to defense that helped Cougars reach District 1 and PIAA championships games and tie for Central League crown … Will play at Monmouth University.

Liz Wilson, Abington, Sr.

Academic All-American, Suburban One National Conference first-team pick … Anchor of defense that helped Ghosts tie for fourth straight league title … Will play at West Chester University.

Midfield Defenders

Alyssa DiBona, Archbishop Carroll, Jr.

US Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American, US Lacrosse Academic All-American, Catholic League first-team pick … Had 70 draw controls for Patriots, helping them win 10th straight league crown and advance to quarterfinals of PIAA championships … Has committed to play at Brown University.

Amanda Norcini, Conestoga, Sr.

US Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American, US Lacrosse Academic All-American, Central League first-team pick …Had 36 goals, 71 draw controls and 48 groundballs for Pioneers, helping them reach District 1 quarterfinals … Will play at Drexel University.

Goalies

Melissa Lloyd, Unionville, Sr.

US Lacrosse All-American (repeat choice) All-American, ESPN Rise Champion showcase, Ches-Mont League first-team pick … Helped Indians place second in the Ches-Mont and reach district 1 and PIAA semifinals … Had 259 saves, for 60.4 percentage … Will play at Penn State.

Allie Murray, Downingtown East, Jr.

Under Armour Underclassmen Games, Ches-Mont League second-team pick … Had 257 saves and save percentage of 60.4 in helping Cougars place fifth in the District 1 tournament and advance to second round of states … Has committed to Notre Dame University.

Annie Woehling, Radnor, Jr.

US Lacrosse All-American, Academic All-American, Central League first-team pick … Posted over 200 saves to help the Red Raiders claim a share of the Central League crown and the District 1 and PIAA championships … She averaged over nine saves in Radnor’s nine playoff wins … Has committed to play at Princeton University.
