Christmas cheer: PLA sponsoring three free boys’ coaches’ clinics in January

The Philadelphia Lacrosse Association is sponsoring three boys’ lacrosse coaches’ clinics in January. All of these are free and open to anyone interested in attending.

Coaches who are current members of US Lacrosse can receive 3 continuing education credits through US Lacrosse for attending any of these clinics. There will be a registration table at each clinic for coaches interested in receiving credit. Please contact Tim Udinski (tudinski@gmail.com) for more information about the continuing education credits.

Saturday, January 8th: 22nd Annual Pennsylvania Coaches Clinic at Cabrini College (sponsored by the PLA and the Eastern Pennsylvania Scholastic Lacrosse Association (EPSLA))

Schedule:
9:30 a.m. – Continental Breakfast
10:00 a.m. – Jeff Tambroni (Head Coach, Penn State) and Chris Doctor (Assistant Coach, Penn State): Riding, Clearing and Developing Midfielders
11:30 – Drawings for door prizes
Noon – Conor Ford, Drexel offensive coordinator/four year starter at Johns Hopkins): Developing Two-Handed Triple Threat Shooters
1 p.m. – Ron Caputo (Assistant Coach, Duke): The Face-Off Game

Sunday, January 16th: Southeastern Pennsylvania Youth Coaches Clinic at Germantown Academy (sponsored by the PLA and the Philadelphia Wings)
The clinic is held in both gyms at Germantown Academy. The speakers in gym #1 focus on topics relevant to new lacrosse coaches and parents. The speakers in gym #2 focus on topics relevant to veteran coaches.
