The Tewaaraton Foundation has announced the 2026 Men’s Nominees for the Tewaaraton Award presented by Stifel. The Tewaaraton Award is recognized as the preeminent lacrosse award, annually honoring the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States. The selection committees are composed of premier college coaches and are appointed annually by the Tewaaraton Foundation.
Five men’s finalists will be selected from this group, to be announced May 7 at the conclusion of the regular season. They will be honored May 28 at the 2026 Tewaaraton Award Ceremony presented by Stifel at the Andrew W Mellon Auditorium, in Washington D.C.

As the season progresses, we look forward to watching these outstanding athletes continue to elevate the game and inspire the next generation.”
The men’s Tewaaraton Award Nominees include players from 16 different schools, led by three each for Princeton and North Carolina, and two each from Army, Cornell, Duke, Richmond, and Notre Dame. Ten players return from last year’s list of Nominees.

The five women’s finalists will be selected from this group of 25 announced by the selection committee Thursday. The Tewaaraton Award presented by Stifel, will be given on May 28.
This list of 25 hails from 14 different schools. Four players are at North Carolina, while there are three at Johns Hopkins, Maryland and Syracuse.
