  • Lyle Thompson – Lacrosse Icon

Players like Tom Schreiber, Paul Gait, Gary Gait, the Powell brothers, Connor Fields, Josh Byrne, Jeff Teat, Zed Williams, Kevin Finneran, and Lyle Thompson demonstrate the clear advantage of integrating box lacrosse skills into the field game. Their success stems from a mastery of tight-space handling, rapid decision-making, and deceptive stickwork and dodging — fundamentals honed in the box.

At LT // 4 Performance Camp, we focus on developing these core skills. Lyle Thompson’s Indigenous-rooted approach emphasizes translating box techniques—creating shooting lanes in traffic, explosive changes of direction—to elevate field performance.

This isn’t about creating a ‘hybrid player.’ It’s about recognizing that top lacrosse players leverage the spatial awareness and adaptability gained from mastering both disciplines. Join us July 28-31 to build a more complete, fundamentally sound game.
