Team 11 is excited to offer another year of the Boys Juniors Program. This program is designed to focus entirely on developing the fundamentals of lacrosse.
The most important thing for a young player’s development is training and repetition. It is fun to play games, however playing in games all of the time does not improve the individual player nearly as much. The program will be run by a mix of Team 11 coaches, including the Sankey Coaching Staff, Team 11 coaches Tyler Horvath (All-American Player graduated from Stockton University), Ethan Greenlee (a current Division One Defenseman from Sacred Heart), and Evan Jacobsen.
Participants will scrimmage each other at times during practice for fun to keep the boys entertained, however this program will focus mainly on the fundamentals for groundballs, catching and throwing, defense, shooting, and dodging. If it is possible and if there is interest, directors will look into scheduling an exhibition game or enter into a tournament if there are any available for this age group.
The Spring practices will be every MONDAY, beginning March 10th. The Spring/Summer practices will be on Mondays and Wednesdays. All practices will be located at Meyer Way Community Park in Jamison.
The cost for the Spring-only option is $215 (includes 10 practices), and the option for Spring & Summer option is $395 (includes 20 practices). All players will be provided a Team 11 Pinnie.
