From Press Release
Lafayette men’s lacrosse coach Patrick Myers has added Nick Hreshko (La Salle) to the Leopards’ coaching staff.
Hreshko comes to College Hill after spending the last two seasons as an assistant for the Monmouth University’s men’s lacrosse team. Hreshko was responsible for everything from goalkeeper development to organizing community service opportunities for the team during his tenure with the Hawks.
“We are very excited to welcome Nick to the Lafayette Lacrosse family. Nick has shown the grit and determination necessary to succeed at this level, and we look forward to having Coach Hreshko work intimately with the goalies and face off position groups, Myers said.” “Coach Hreshko helped lead the Monmouth program to a conference championship in his time there so he understands what it takes to achieve at a championship level. With his deep ties in Philadelphia, he comes from a lacrosse rich background and is going to bring a level of hard work and resilience that our players will feed off of on a daily basis.”
Since 2016, Hreshko has been working as an assistant club director and coach for Team11 Lacrosse, based out of Bucks County. He’s worked with players ranging from third to 11th grade helping them develop fundamentals, while encouraging sportsmanship, accountability and a strong work ethic.
The Warrington native graduated from Monmouth in 2017 with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. Hreshko was also a four-year standout goalkeeper on the men’s lacrosse team while in Long Branch. During his senior season, Hreshko was named the MAAC Defensive Player of the Year, received All-MAAC First Team laurels and led the Hawks to their first MAAC title.
Shortly after graduation, Hreshko returned to Monmouth to pursue his MBA in accounting, obtaining his degree in 2018.
Hreshko was named Second-Team All-Catholic League as a senior when he helped lead La Salle to the PIAA championship.. He also played center on the La Salle College ice hockey team.
