Boston University women’s lacrosse head coach Lauren Morton (Gwynedd Mercy Academy) appointed Lucy Pearson (Springside Chestnut Hill Academy) to her staff as an assistant coach and director of operations ahead of the 2027 season on Wednesday.
Pearson, a 2026 graduate of Stanford, played four seasons with the Cardinal and has etched her name into its record book. She ranks in the program’s top 10 in games played (56), saves (390) and minutes played (3,028:28), while also boasting the third-best goals-against average (9.11) in program history.
She backstopped the Cardinal to its fourth Pac-12 conference tournament title and third Pac-12 regular season title in 2024. It also reached the NCAA Tournament in each of the three seasons where Pearson was the starting goalkeeper (2024-26).
In 2024, Pearson was named to the IWLCA All-West/Midwest Second Team and was an IWLCA All-American Honorable Mention. She was the Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Year in 2024, an All-ACC Third Team selection in 2025 and was named to the 2025 Tewaaraton Watch List.
Pearson was a two-time All-Phillylacrosse.com First-Team pick and a two-time USA Lacrosse All-American at SCH.
Pearson graduated from Stanford with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in criminal justice at Boston University.
