The Phillylacrosse.com Preseason Boys’ Rankings (last year’s win-loss record in parenthesis) for 2023:
- Malvern Prep (20-3) – The Friars seek their fifth straight Inter-Ac League championship.
- Radnor (24-2) – The Raptors seek their third straight PIAA 3A championship.
- Haverford School (14-6) – The Fords look to challenge for the Inter-Ac title.
- Academy of the New Church (16-4) – The Lions are playing an elite national schedule.
- Salesianum School-DE (15-4) – The Sals are favored to win a third straight Delaware state championship.
- Episcopal Academy (11-8) – The Churchmen will again be a major Inter-Ac challenger.
- La Salle (18-4) – The Explorers should challenge for PIAA 3A honors.
- St. Augustine Prep-NJ (16-2) – The Hermits look to defend ther New Jersey Non-Public A championship.
- Hill School (12-6) – The Blues reached the Mid-Atlantic Prep title game last year.
- Downingtown East (19-4) – The Cougars reached the District 1 3A final last year and look to contend for state honors.
- Garnet Valley (19-7) – The Jaguars reached the PIAA 3A championship last year.
- Springfield-Delco (20-5) – The Cougars are a Central League contender.
- Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (7-13) – Can the Blue Devils challenge in the Inter-Ac.
- Mars (23-1) – The Fightin’ Planets were the first Western team to win a PIAA (2A) title last year.
- (tie) St. Joseph’s Prep (17-7) – The Hawks reached the PIAA 3A semifinals; Manheim Township (19-4) – The Blue Streaks reached the PIAA 3A quarterfinals; Westtown (9-9) – The Moose look to challenge for the Friends School crown.
