The Phillylacrosse.com Preseason Boys’ Rankings (last year’s win-loss record in parenthesis) for 2023:

  1. Malvern Prep (20-3) – The Friars seek their fifth straight Inter-Ac League championship.
  2. Radnor (24-2)  – The Raptors seek their third straight PIAA 3A championship.
  3. Haverford School (14-6) – The Fords look to challenge for the Inter-Ac title.
  4. Academy of the New Church (16-4)  – The Lions are playing an elite national schedule.
  5. Salesianum School-DE (15-4)  – The Sals are favored to win a third straight Delaware state championship.
  6. Episcopal Academy (11-8)  – The Churchmen will again be a major Inter-Ac challenger.
  7. La Salle (18-4)  – The Explorers should challenge for PIAA 3A honors.
  8. St. Augustine Prep-NJ (16-2)  – The Hermits look to defend ther New Jersey Non-Public A championship.
  9. Hill School (12-6)  – The Blues reached the Mid-Atlantic Prep title game last year.
  10. Downingtown East (19-4)  – The Cougars reached the District 1 3A final last year and look to contend for state honors.
  11. Garnet Valley (19-7) – The Jaguars reached the PIAA 3A championship last year.
  12. Springfield-Delco (20-5)  – The Cougars are a Central League contender.
  13. Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (7-13) – Can the Blue Devils challenge in the Inter-Ac.
  14. Mars (23-1)  – The Fightin’ Planets were the first Western team to win a PIAA (2A) title last year.
  15. (tie) St. Joseph’s Prep (17-7) – The Hawks reached the PIAA 3A semifinals; Manheim Township (19-4) – The Blue Streaks reached the PIAA 3A quarterfinals; Westtown (9-9) – The Moose look to challenge for the Friends School crown.

Lebanon (14-8), Penn Charter (13-13), Shady Side Academy (17-6), Shawnee-NJ (16-5), Unionville (13-11)
