This is one of a series of previews for the 2022 scholastic lacrosse season

Central Bucks East
League: Suburban One National

Coaches: Head coach Bruce Garcia (1998-present); Assistants Joe Brodzik (Offensive coordinator), Dan Gray (Defensive coordinator)

Coach’s Outlook/Key Players: “Central Bucks East has a very young talented team this year. Our Captain, senior Nick Knepp, will be the offensive leader along with senior Aiden Schmidt. Our defense is mature with returning starters. Brennan Coleman, a senior captain, leads this group that has a lot of talent. Senior goaltender Ethan Bean returns for his fourth year. Senior Nils Updale returns at the faceoff X after a very good year in 2021.”

Central Bucks West
League: Suburban One-National
Coaches: Head Coach Matt Coverdale (18th season, 24th overall @ CBW); Assistants Albert Snyder, Steve Hogan, Bryan McAdam, Spencer Macquarrie, Patrick Kiel, and Scott Mitchell
2021 Record: 9-9, Qualified District One Playoff

Coach’s Outlook for 2022: “The Bucks are hoping to improve on last year’s performance. We bring back several starters and look to contend for the top spot of the SOL National League and return to the District One Playoffs.”
