The Phillylacrosse.com Honorable mention Coaches of the Year for 2019:

Boys’ Teams

Matt Coverdale, Central Bucks West – He led the Bucks to their first Suburban One (National) Conference championship.

Pat Lacon, Upper Dublin – He guided the Cardinals to a share of the Suburban One American Conference title in his first year, and wins over ranked teams Academy of the New Church and West Chester East.

Hank Resch, Springfield-Montco – He guided the Spartans to a share of their first Suburban One (American) Conference crown.

Jim Schorn, West Chester East – He led the Vikings to the Ches-Mont League championship.

Girls’ Teams

Mary Klepper, Abington – She led the Ghosts to the Suburban One National Conference crown with an undefeated record.

Christa Somits, Downingtown East – She guided the Cougars to the Ches-Mont League championship and a berth in the PIAA tournament.

Josie Tomaino, Episcopal Academy – She guided EA to an outright Inter-Ac league title.

Xan Zimatore, Academy of Notre Dame – She guided the Irish to its first  Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association championship.
