The Pennsylvania Area Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association (PASLA) is very pleased to share the 2019 PASLA Awards Recipients:
Most Improved Team – Pottsgrove High School
Team Service Award – Wissahickon High School
Rookie of the Year – Marissa White, Agnes Irwin School
Student-Athlete of the Year – Zoe Torrey, Germantown Academy
Coach of the Year – Josie Tomaino, Episcopal Academy
Also, congratulations to the players who will be representing Team Philly at the US Lacrosse National Tournament in Bel Air, Maryland on May 25 & 26. The National Tournament, held annually in May with its origins dating back to the early 1930s, has been played in New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland in recent years and continues to be a major draw for high school aged players.

The Pennsylvania Area Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association recognizes and represents High School girls’ lacrosse coaches in 144-member schools throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, and includes parts of the Lehigh Valley. We partner with US Lacrosse, the national governing association for the sport of Lacrosse in their All-American & All-Academic Awards and the National Tournament, recognize outstanding local athletes, conduct clinics to keep our member coaches current in the techniques and practices of the game and make camp scholarships available.
