From USA Lacrosse Press Release

USA Lacrosse has named the U.S. men’s roster for the 2026 Atlas Cup, the next stop on the road to the LA28 Olympics. USA Lacrosse headquarters hosts the event on Tierney Field from Oct. 23-25. Men’s and women’s national teams from Canada, the Haudenosaunee Nationals, Ireland and the United States will play sixes, the version of the game that will be used at the LA28 Olympics.

Full-event and single-day tickets for the three-day event are on sale, which includes additional savings for USA Lacrosse members. The U.S. men open play against Ireland on Friday, Oct. 23 (8:30 pm), meet archrival Canada on Saturday, Oct. 24 (7 pm) and then close things out against the Haudeonosaunee Nationals on Sunday, Oct. 25 (noon). Ticket options include Lawn Seating, Stadium Seating, or a premium VIP Hospitality experience..

The U.S. men went 2-1 at the inaugural Atlas Cup last fall, finishing as the runner-up to Canada. The U.S. will attempt to bring home the Atlas Cup this year with a roster that includes 2023 World Lacrosse Championship MVP Brennan O’Neill.

The U.S. roster features two other members of the 2023 world championship team in field lacrosse besides O’Neill – goalie Blaze Riorden and runner Ryan Terefenko. Riorden was named the outstanding goalie at the 2023 world championship and Terefenko made the all-tournament team at last year’s Atlas Cup.

Matt Campbell, Aidan Maguire and Joey Spallina helped the U.S. beat Canada in the gold medal game at the Pan-American Sixes Lacrosse Championship in Oshawa, Ontario earlier this month. That was the first win for the U.S. men over Canada in the sixes format since 2021.
