League: Pioneer Athletic Conference

Head Coach: Ben Carville ( 2nd Season)

2017 Record: 7-2 PAC; 11-9 Overall; Reached PAC finals for 11th straight season, losing to seven-time champion Spring-Ford 9-5. Edged Perkiomen Valley 9-8 in PAC semifinals; District 1-3A qualifier, losing in first round to West Chester East 16-8

Coach’s outlook: “Our team is poised to continue to build on our successes and clean up our mistakes from last season. It will be difficult to replace the experienced senior class from last year, but our players are excited to develop their own identity. Our schedule is full of district and state level competition. Those teams will push us to compete at our highest level and challenge our players and staff to prepare and execute to that degree. The competitive gaps have tightened in our league and we are looking forward to the challenge that presents. We enter every season with the expectation of competing for a league championship.”

Phoenixville

League: Pioneer Athletic Conference

Head Coach: Chip Mittnacht, 2nd season

2017 Record: 3-6 PAC, 10-9 overall; Earned first District One Playoff bid in program history (defeated by Radnor 15-2 in opening round)

Coach’s outlook: “This team has made great strides in the short amount of time they have played together.They have become an increasingly confident group and believe they can compete with any team they are up against. I expect they will surprise a number of opponents.”
