The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) women’s lacrosse team was picked to finish second in the CACC on Tuesday afternoon. The 2018 poll was decided upon by the 10 coaching staffs in the conference. The news was announced by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference office.
Jefferson earned 83 points in the conference poll, trailing only Georgian Court with 96.
The Rams went 10-8 overall last year and 6-3 in conference. The squad made it to the CACC Championship game, but lost to Georgian Court.
Jefferson’s 2018 season begins on Saturday, Feb. 24 at Kutztown. Action begins at 1 p.m.
