Why did you choose the school? “I have had an interest in The University of Virginia since I began to excel at lacrosse. It has everything I was looking for in a school. The spirit of all of the sports teams is thrilling and and I can’t wait to be part of it. Not only does the university have a phenomenal lacrosse team, but maintains a stellar academic history and has prestigious programs in all fields of study. I am truly honored to be accepted by the team and cannot wait to be coached by the dedicated and positive coaching staff whom consist of Coach (Julie) Myers, Coach (Colleen) Shearer, and Coach (Lindsay) Rogers. Ultimately, it was a great fit for me and I can see myself excelling academically and athletically there.”

Her dedication and expectations for our team encourage each player to play their best. As far as the upcoming season, with commitment and positivity, Baldwin Lacrosse team will continue to grow as a program.”
People to Thank: “I would like to thank my parents. Both whom have been by my side through the recruiting process. My parents are the reason I have made it to where I am today, and I am forever thankful. I’d like to thank Coach Duck for continually shaping me into the best player I can be. Over the years, Coach Duck has dramatically changed the level and intensity of my play. Attending her clinics and hearing her feedback led me to reach my goal. I would also like to thank my track coaches, Ije Iheoma and Dashera Richardson who have impacted my physical strength and mental strength in the lacrosse off season. Finally, I’d like to thank my high school coach, Marisa Lozano who exposed me to a higher level of lacrosse by placing me on varsity as a freshman and for all of my teammates who gained the confidence in my ability to help advance the team both offensively and defensively.
