STEPS Philadelphia girls’ HS roundup: Methacton’s Hughes scores 100th goal, OJR stays undefeated

Sara Hughes scored five goals, including the 100th of her career, and added two assists as Methacton defeated Upper Perkiomen, 16-4, Monday in Pioneer Athletic Conference girls’ lacrosse.Steps-Philly-copy13

Casey Reid added two goals and an assist and Daria Lucchesi scored two goals to help the Warriors improve to 6-2 overall and 4-2 in the PAC-10.

Aubrey Wilcox led Upper Perk with two goals.

Owen J. Roberts 18, Pottsgrove 4

Anna Dempsey had six goals and an assist and Maddie Gebert collected five goals and one assist while Morgan Stone had four goals to lead the undefeated Wildcats (10-0, 6-0) to the PAC-10 win.

Mount St. Joseph 23, Lansdale Catholic 5

Christie Mischler: collected four goals, two assists and four draw controls to lead the Mount.

Central Bucks South 11, Plymouth Whitemarsh 4

Sarah Poli fired in four goals and Courtney Dietzel had three goals and two assists to lead the Titans.

Ali Diamond had three goals for PW.

Camden Catholic (NJ) 11, Cherry Hill East (NJ) 9

Megan Kilpatrick had seven goals for Camden Catholic.

Kelsey Gorman led CHE with three goals and two assists.

Spring-Ford 18, Pottstown 7

Brianna Cirino scored four goals as the Rams coasted to the win.

Julia Pearson ld the Trojans with three goals.

Princeton (NJ) 18, Robbinsville 7

Gabby Gibbons had six goals and an assist for Princeton.

Jenkintown 16, Bishop McDevitt 3

Emma Dorshimer collected six goals, one assist and seven draw controls for the Drakes.

Suzanna Cantwell led McDevitt with a pair of goals.

Upper Merion 18, Interboro 8

Haley OMalley had six goals and Julia Reinert added four to lead the Vikings.

Sami Barnett had four goals and two assists for the Bucs.
