Why did you choose PSU? “We Are a Penn State Family! Attending Penn State and playing for the Women’s Lacrosse Team has been a dream of mine for a very long time. When I finally had an opportunity to visit, see the campus and interact with other students I just knew this was the school for me. Meeting with the coaches and the girls on the team made me realize how special this opportunity would be and it made me work that much harder. It’s a great school with excellent coaches and a winning tradition and I am proud to say that Penn State is my school!”
Thank You:“Tri-State Director Sue Montegari provided the direction I needed to navigate through this process. Thank you for supporting my pursuit of playing for Penn State. I set my goal high and you always believed in me.
“Thanks to Tri-State coaches Coach Murph and Coach Kelsey. Joining your team was the best decision I made. You taught me to be a better player. Your constant feedback and encouragement helped me so much. A special thank you to Coach Sue Montgari. This would not have been possible if you weren’t helping me along the way and providing me and my parents with feedback and encouragement.
“Thanks to Coach Steph Magnone (VJM) for helping me to improve my game and providing just the right support when I needed it most.
“My parents are incredible! I’ve been playing competitive sports since I was a young girl. They have always supported me in every way. They were always there for me, believing in me and encouraging me to set goals for myself and dream big. They sacrifice a lot for me and my brothers. My Mom and Dad are the best and I love them with all my heart.
“I would like to thank my teammates for helping me to become a better player and teammate. We play and win together as one team! Finally, a special thanks to my friends for their support and encouragement. You’re amazing and I’m fortunate to have you in my life.”
