Charles Kelly won 22 of 27 face-offs and Drew Schantz collected three goals and an assist, but visiting Malvern Prep fell, 14-11, at St. Mary’s Annapolis Tuesday afternoon.
The Friars (0-2) also got two goals and an assist from Scott White and a goal and two assists from Zach White. Adam Goldner had a goal and an assist while Mike Fay, Quinn McCahon and Matt Klinges each scored once.
Loyola Blakefield (MD) 18, Germantown Academy 6
Jim McAfee scored a hat trick in the first quarter to lead GA. Ian Davies was strong in goal, making 12 saves.
After a tight first quarter Loyola went on a 8-1 run in the second to break the game open.
