High Point commit Michael Fraser snapped a tie-game with an extra-man goal with 4:15 to play to lead Bishop O’Connell of Arlington, Va., to a 5-4 win over Holy Ghost today. It was the sixth game for O’Connell, which is now 4-2, while HGP was playing its opener.
Sacred Heart signee Greg Price made 21 saves for the Firebirds, who trailed 4-2 before Alex Yake and Anthony Gentile scored to tie it with 5:57 left. HGP was without Michael Major, who played in the school’s state championship hockey game Saturday night at Penn State.
