John Fox scored in double overtime to lift St. Augustine Prep to an 8-7 win over visiting Lenape Friday in non-league New Jersey boys’ lacrosse.
Fox led the Hermits with three goals and an assist while Chase Young netted two goals and Bryce McGrath added a goal and two assists. Ernie Alvino stopped 10 shots.
The Hermits, 7-2, are ranked No. 2 by Phillylacrosse.com.
Anthony Brunetti led Lenape (5-3) with three goals while Connor Wolfe and Matt Smith each scored twice.
Central Bucks South 14, Pennridge 11
Chris Tanner erupted for eight goals to lead the Titans to their 11th win without a loss. Jake Henze had three goals and Evan Falkowski had two goals and two assists for CB South, now 9-0 in the Suburban One Continental.
Blake Schoenmeier and Sean Fechter each had three goals and an assist and teddy Tozzi stopped 18 shots for the Rams.
Wissahickon 6, Plymouth Whitemarsh 4
Nate DeGroat and John Esposito each scored two goals and Jack Meyers had six saves for the Trojans.
