Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School
Head Coach: Catie Kersey, 13th season as Head Coach
Last year’s record: 13 –7, including playoffs; District II Champions (third year in a row), won play-in game and first round of State playoffs. Lost to Manhiem Township in quarterfinals.
Key returning players: Kelley Gavin (’15, goal keeper), Lexi Quick (’15, midfielder), Tali Dressler (’15, defense), Emily Gabriel (’15 defense)
Coach’s Outlook: “Having graduated six starters, the Blue Knights will be looking for their underclassmen to step up this spring to fill some important holes in the lineup and help the Blue Knights defend their Division II title. Seniors Becca Schulman, Madison Dowd, and Ceci Norris will be back and lead their team to another successful season. They are supported by a strong group of Juniors and some emerging Freshman and Sophomores. It should be an exciting season and one of growth for the Wyoming Seminary Blue Knights.”
Harriton High School
Head Coach: George Dick (Starting 7th season, 102-33)
Last year’s record, accomplishments: 25-2, Central League Champions, PIAA District 1 Champs, PIAA State Champions
Key returning players: Sabrina Tabasso, Melina Avery, Katie Melvin, Hilary Lemmonick, Jane Henderson, Maura Henderson, Alex Ladda, Julia Marks, Jess Herman, Alexa Foust, Bailey Ebby, Annika Iyer
Key newcomers: Liv Tevis, Haley Morris, Laura Lasprogata
Coach’s Outlook: “We have an experienced team and will work hard to get better everyday. Hard work is usually a good way to get positive results on the field.”
