High School: Gwynedd Mercy Academy

Graduation Year: 2015

Position: Defense

College Choice: Ithaca College

Club Affiliation: Phantastix

Lacrosse Honors: 3 year Varsity letter winner

What will you major in/study? Occupational Therapy

Why did you choose Ithaca? “I chose Ithaca College for the academics, I am in the occupational therapy five year masters program. O.T. is a very competitive major since there are only about 50 students in the class and only a select amount of schools have the five year program.

“The school itself is beautiful with amazing facilities from the athletic buildings to the academic buildings. The size of the school is perfect for me, I went to a large school my first two years of high school and ended up transferring to a small private school so I knew I needed a smaller school, but not too small that I would know everyone on campus.

“The surrounding town is an awesome college town and there is so much to do like hiking to the different water falls and gorges. As far as lacrosse, I did a clinic there in the fall and I loved the coach and the team, they had such great chemistry and I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I just feel like this is were I belong.”

Outlook for 2015 HS season? “My high school team is looking good, we are playing in a winter league and the team is really clicking. We lost about 6 starting seniors last year so we have a lot of spots to fill but I know we are all up for the challenge. We have a good group of seniors to lead the team as well as under class men that are stepping up too. I believe this could be the best season yet!”

Thank You: “Some people I want to thank are my parents for giving me so many opportunities to improve and showcase my abilities, driving me to Virginia (we all know how painful that drive is) and all over the East coast for lacrosse tournaments and clinics and for supporting me every step of the way. I would also like to thank all the coaches and my teammates from my club team, Phantastix and my high school coaches and teammates.”
