College Choice: University of Virginia
Club Affiliation: Mesa Fresh
Major lacrosse honors, All-Star teams, Camps, Showcases: Camp Tecumseh junior Lacrosse Award, Inter-Ac Tournament Champions, King of the Hill All Star, Jake Reed’s Nike Blue Chip Camp, Winner of the 2012 Dicks Tournament of Champions

What will you major in/study? “Undecided, however the School of Commerce is one I am interested in learning more about.”
Why did you choose the school? “I loved how The University had so many traditions and such a rich history. Academically, Virginia is a first class institution. Athletically, Virginia is always one of the top programs every year so I knew it had the best combination of everything I was interested in pursuing in a college. Coaches (Dom) Starsia, (Marc) Van Ardsdale, and Walker spent the day with me and my parents and made us all feel very much at home.
What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season: “This past year had a great outcome for us, and I think we proved a lot for a young team with how we finished. I think the upcoming season has the potential to be another very positive one with many returning players. We just need to keep working hard and prove what we can do during the season.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank my High school coaches, Coach John Nostrant, Coach Mark Petrone, and Coach Travis Loving, for their support in helping me transition to a high school lacrosse player. I would like to thank Coach Jason Christmas for introducing me to Virginia. I also would like to thank my Mesa coaches, Peter Rohr, Brad Ament, Dave Sowers, and Adam Mueller for helping me improve my lacrosse IQ and ability. I would like to thank Coach Peter Samson for growing my love for lacrosse, as well as molding me into the player I am today. Most importantly I would like to thank my family and friends for their love and support.”
Other schools considered? “I was very impressed with the lacrosse families and academics at the Universities of Pennsylvania and North Carolina.”
