High School: Marple Newtown

Graduation Year: 2014

Position: Defense

College Choice: University of Tampa

Club Affiliation: Quaker City

Major lacrosse honors: Philly Showcase All-Stars 2012

What will you major in/study? Undecided

Why did you choose U of Tampa? “To be able to be a part of a beginning program, the knowledgeable and friendly coaching staff, as well as a University that offers a diverse education in a beautiful setting.”

Outlook for your High School team next season? “Each year we continue to improve with a goal of making the playoffs next spring.”

Additional Comments: “I want to thank Coach Dick, Coach King, and Coach Shapiro for training me over the years at Quaker City. Without them I would not be the lacrosse player I am today. They taught me what it really takes to play lacrosse at a higher level and influenced me not only in the game of lacrosse but also in my personal life.

“I would also like to thank my High School lacrosse coach. Coach Firkser not only taught me about lacrosse but she also encouraged me to try and play in college.

“I want to thank Coach Duck for all the help she has given me over the years with lacrosse and the recruiting process.

“Lastly, I would like to thank my family. I would like to thank my parents for all the time they put into my lacrosse career, from coaching me to sitting on the sidelines every game. I want to thank my grandparents for their support and attending all of my games despite weather conditions. Finally, I want to thank my brother for the many times he practiced with me and the support he has given me over the years.”
