Editor’s Note: Phillylacrosse.com honors the girls’ players from Philly for the 2011 season. The All-Phillylacrosse.com teams were chosen after much discussion with coaches and other media members. The major considerations were player performance and how much the players helped their teams succeed. Tomorrow: Midfield-Attack

All-Phillylacrosse.com 2011: Girls’ Attack

Halley Barnes, Garnet Valley, Junior
Central League First Team … Phillylacrosse.com Co-Player of the year …Collected 118 goals, 40 assists, 83 draw controls and 70 groundballs … Led Jaguars to share of first Central League title and first PIAA championship … Committed to Rutgers.

Stephanie Finley, Sacred Heart, Senior
All-Athletic Association of Catholic Academies … Had 92 goals and 52 assists and finished career with 269 goals … Helped team qualify for AACA playoffs … Signed with James Madison.

Ali Karwoski, Great Valley, Junior
Ches-Mont league First Team … Led Philly region in goals with 132 and added 23 assists … Led Patriots to berth in PIAA semifinals … Committed to Delaware.

Blake McHugh, Episcopal Academy, Senior

Inter-Ac League First team … Scored 65 goals … Led EA to undefeated league title and PA Independent League championship … Headed to Northwestern.

AnnaElise Morello, Garnet Valley, Junior
Central League Second Team … Collected 62 goals and 108 assists … Helped Jaguars claim share of first Central League title, berth in District 1 finals and first state championship … Played in Under Armour Underclassmen Games.

Hannah Schmitt, Archbishop Carroll, Senior
US Lacrosse All-American, Catholic League First Team and league MVP … Scored 65 goals … Led Patriots to 11th straight Catholic League championship and berth in state quarterfinals … Signed with Loyola.

Carli Sukonik, Harriton, Senior
US Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American, Academic All-American, Central League First Team … Had 118 goals and 27 assists … Led Rams to share of first Central League championship and first PIAA berth… Played in ESPN RISE Games/US Lacrosse Champion Challenge … Scored 335 goals for career, including 12 in a playoff game this year … Signed with Lehigh.

Sloan Warren, Baldwin School, Senior
Under Armour, US Lacrosse All-American, Inter-Ac League First Team … Collected 107 goals and 40 assists … Led Bears to 12-7 season … Named to ESPN RISE/US Lacrosse Champion Challenge … Signed with Virginia.
