Editor’s Note: Phillylacrosse.com honors the girls’ players from Philly for the 2011 season. The All-Phillylacrosse.com teams were chosen after much discussion with coaches and other media members. The major considerations were player performance and how much the players helped their teams succeed. Tomorrow: midfield-defense

Kelly Cross, Upper Dublin, Junior
US Lacrosse All-American, Academic All-American, Suburban One American Conference First Team, MVP … Collected 95 goals, 54 assists and 111 draw controls … Led Cards to conference title and first PIAA berth … Played on Team Philly at Under Armour Underclassmen Games … Committed to Syracuse.

Kelly Devlin, Downingtown East, Senior
Under Armour, US Lacrosse All-American, Ches-Mont League First Team …Led Cougars to Ches-Mont and District 1 championships and berth in PIAA finals … Collected 47 goals and 109 assists … Signed with North Carolina.

Katrina Geiger, Haverford High, Junior
US Lacrosse All-American, Central League First Team … Scored 91 goals and school record 10 in one game … Led Fords to District 1 playoffs … Played on Team Philly at Under Armour Underclassmen Games … Committed to Loyola.

Brooke Kiley, Germantown Academy, Junior
US Lacrosse Academic All-American, Inter-Ac League First Team … Scored school-record 107 goals … Played on Philly Under Armour Underclassmen Games team … Committed to Penn.

Maddy Lynch, Springfield-Delco, Junior
US Lacrosse All-American, Academic All-American, Central League First Team … Collected 87 goals, 59 groundballs and 49 draw controls … Led Cougars to share of Central League crown and berth in District 1 semifinals and state quarterfinals … Committed to Princeton.

Caitlin McCartney, Archbishop Wood, Senior

US Lacrosse All-American, Catholic League First Team … Collected 82 goals, 21 assists and 55 groundballs … Led Vikings to Catholic League finals and District 1 playoffs … Signed with Delaware.

Emily Solenberger, Downingtown East, Senior
US Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American, Ches-Mont League First Team … Collected 76 goals and 50 assists … Led Cougars to Ches-Mont and District 1 championships and berth in state finals … Signed with Lehigh.

Taylor Trimble, Episcopal Academy, Senior

Under Armour, US Lacrosse All-American, Inter-Ac League First Team … Collected 96 goals, 53 assists 103 groundballs and 66 draw controls … Led EA to Inter-Ac and PA Independent Schools championships … Named captain of US U-19 team playing in Hannover, Germany beginning this week … Reebok Player of Year … Signed with Duke.
