Here is a quick recap of the Philly Division III Conference Outlook highlights from the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook, which was released this weekend:

Colonial States Athletic Conference

Cabrini College senior attackman Casey Grugan (Ridley) was named as the Preseason Player to Watch. Grugan had 52 goals and 44 assists and has received every possible accolade and broken nearly every record at Cabrini – now he wants a Final Four berth.

The Dark Horse Team is Gwynedd Mercy College, a first-year program last season that more than held its own with a 7-9 mark and a 2-4 record in the CSAC with a roster of 29 freshmen and one sophomore. The squad features sophomore midfielder Nicholas Coan (Garnet Valley), who had 11 goals and 24 assists in 2009.

Centennial Conference

Haverford College junior attackman Max Hjelm (Conestoga) is the Preseason Player to Watch after scoring 45 goals last year and 42 as a freshman.

Landmark Conference

Scranton, featuring 13 players from Philly, is the Dark Horse Team. The Royals feature sophomore midfielder Brett Greer (Ridley), who had 15 goals and 14 assists as a freshman.

Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference

Colorado College is the Preseason Team to Watch. The Tigers are coached by former Penn State assistant Guy Van Arsdale and former Notre Dame and Ridley great Mike Podgajny.
