Penn, for the second year in a row, finished second in the final Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division I Poll. The Quakers (15-3) gave eventual champion Northwestern its toughest game in the NCAA tourney, bowing to the five-time champion Wildcats in overtime in the semifinals.
In Division II, West Chester finished sixth while Franklin & Marshall, with a host of Philly women, claimed the top spot in Division III by taking the crown.
