Haverford School midfielder Peter Blynn and Central Bucks East defenseman Tyler Butler (Penn State commit) have completed a rare accomplishment together.

CB East’s Tyler Butler (left) and Haverford School’s Peter Blynn of Mesa Fresh 2014 and the Duke’s L.C. have been on two major championship teams

These two players, both members of Mesa Fresh 2014 and the Duke’s Lacrosse Club, are the only two to have been member of the championships teams for two of the top boys’ club tournaments, the Dick’s Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions (with Mesa in January of 2012) and Champ Camp (with Duke’s in July 2012) in the same year.

Mesa Fresh 2014 won the Rising Stars Division at Dick’s TOC on New Year’s Day by defeating Fellowship of Christian Athletes, 8-5, in Wesley Park, Fla.. The Dukes L.C. claimed its crown by defeating GotSkillz (Md.), 8-7, in overtime two weekends ago.
