The True PA Roughriders announce a slightly expanded tryout schedule that begins June 29 with youth classes of 2031 through 2035 at West Chester East.
The Roughriders also announced their coaching staff (see below).
The Roughriders will be holding tryouts on the following dates:
June 29 – 2031, 2032, 2033, 2034, 2035 location West Chester East High School turf fields
July 7 – 2029, 2030 Kelly Field in West Chester
July 8 – 2033, 2034/2035 Kelly Field in West Chester
July 9 – 2029, 2030 Kelly Field in West Chester

The Roughriders head coaches for the coming year
2028 – Tyler Hoagland – Assistant Coach Immaculata
2029 – Doug Corrigan – Captain UVA, former Villanova, Widener assistant
2030 – Brody Wilson – National Champion Yale Lacrosse
2031 – Paul Zelenak – Assistant Episcopal Academy
2032 – Jon Heisman – Head Coach Shanahan
2033 – Connor Heisman – All Conference, Player of the year Widener
2034, 2035 – Parker Harley Director West Chester Youth
Each of the teams has 3 dedicated coaches assigned to each team each summer as well as specialists in position-specific duties – Goalies, Fogo’s, Offensive and Defensive coaches.
All Roughrider enrollments are eligible to participate in the Roughrider Coaches Academy Skill Sessions, featuring Division 1, 2 and 3 coaches along with leading prep school coaches in the area.
