Michael Sowers (Upper Dublin) had four goals and an assist and tallied three of his goals in the second half as the Philadelphia Wings surged past host Buffalo, 13-11, Saturday night to halt a 6-game losing streak.
Brennan O’Neill also had four goals and an assist for the Wings, who improved to 2-6 with the much-needed victory. Kyle Jackson had two goals ands five assists and Joe Resetarits had a goal and four assists. Nick Damude posted 46 saves and Sam LeClair had a goal and an assist whilke Eric Fannell added three assists.
Sowers tied the game, 11-11, with 4:19 to play of assists from LeClair and Jackson and Jackson put the Wings ahead, 12-11, 27 seconds later. Sowers clinched it with another tally with 1:28 to play.
