Philly coaches in Division I; 7 for men’s teams and 22 for women’s teams

There are seven men’s programs and 22 NCAA Division I women’s college programs being led by head coaches who graduated from Philly/South Jersey area high schools in 2026. This year’s new coach is La Salle’s Kirk Lewis, a North Penn grad who brings over 10 years of coaching experience to the Explorers. She was head coach at Furman (2021-2023) and, most recently, was an associate head coach at Xavier.
