Global Sports Academy inviting top U17 boys’ lacrosse players for select team competing in Montreal in July

Global Sports Academy is inviting a limited number of top Under-17 boys’ lacrosse players from the Delaware Valley to be considered for a select team competing in Montreal this July.

This is a high-level international experience featuring games against Canadian competition, full team travel, and a professionally run program led by Head Coach Chad Rafferty (Unionville High School and Fusion Lacrosse Club).

Highlights:
• 5 games vs. Canadian teams
• Full travel experience (hotel, meals, transportation)
• Team training + structured coaching
• Sightseeing and team activities

GLOBAL SPORTS ACADEMY LACROSSE TEAM TOUR July 19-25

July 19 DAY 1 – Travel Day (Philadelphia to Montreal)
– Early morning charter bus departure
– Travel time approximately 8–9 hours with stops
– Border crossing into Canada (passports required)
– Arrival and hotel check-in
– Welcome team dinner
– Team meeting and curfew

July 20 DAY 2 – Old Montreal + Game #1
– Breakfast
– Guided tour of Old Montreal (including Notre
Dame Basilica)
– Game #1
– Dinner
– Team meeting / recovery

July 21 DAY 3 – Jet Boat Excursion + Sightseeing
– Breakfast
– Jet boat ride on the Lachine Rapids
– Visit Mount Royal (team photos)
– Free time / recovery
– Dinner

July 22 DAY 4 – Olympic Stadium + Game #2 & #3
– Breakfast
– Visit Olympic Stadium and surrounding area – Game #2 #3
– Dinner

July 23 DAY 5 – Market Visit + Free Time
– Breakfast
– Visit Jean-Talon Market
– Underground City / shopping time
– Dinner
– Team bonding activities

July 24 DAY 6 – Game #4 & #5 + Team
Celebration
– Breakfast
– Game
– Farewell team dinner with awards and
speeches

July 25 DAY 7 – Return to Philadelphia
– Breakfast
– Charter bus departure
– Travel with scheduled stops
– Evening arrival back in Philadelphia

Important Notes:
– All players and staff must carry valid passports
– Team supervision and tour guide support provided at all times – Daily structure includes meals, games, and organized activities Hotel: Residence Inn by Marriott Montreal Downtown Travel: Charter Bus from Philadelphia ( Bus will be with the team the entire trip)
