Head Coach: Dee Cross – 18th Year at UD, 31st Overall
Assistant Coaches – Kendra Finger, Alison Curran
2025 Record: 19-4
2025 Team Honors: SOL American Conference Champions. District 1 Playoffs. Played in the first round of the PIAA State Playoffs.
Voted the Team Sportsmanship Award by the SOL American Conference.
Voted the Carolyn Stuetz Sportsmanship Award by the Philadelphia Women’s Lacrosse Umpire Association.
Opener date & opponent: We play at Haverford HS on 3/13/26
Key returners: Seniors – Ava Shohen, Lily Buckius, Maeve Hogan. Juniors- Bridget DiMartile and Shannon Connaughton. Sophomores – Liv Coffey, Emily Buckius, Abby Rucker.
Key newcomers: Sophomore – Freshmen – Reagan Gambone, Emma Shervin
Coach’s Outlook for 2025: “We graduated some key players from last years’ State Playoff team. We are working hard to fill in gaps and be competitive in every game.”
Wissahickon High School
League: Suburban One League American Conference
Head Coach: Hannah Havrilla – 1st year head coach. Last year’s record was 14–2.
Assistant coaches: Emily Vervlied, Lauren Donofrio, and Sherri Ace.
2025 Record: Overall record last year was 14–2. Lost in the second round of the playoffs.
2025 Team Honors: Sophia Stehlik – Second Team All-League; Samantha Farno – Honorable Mention All-League.
Opener date & opponent: Friday, March 13, Away vs. Coatesville. Varsity at 3:30 PM
Key returners: Sophia Stehlik (Senior, MF), Ava Fell (Senior, GK), Samantha Farno (Junior, MF/A), Kaylee Hammond (Junior, MF/D), and Paige Dratch (Junior, A).
Key newcomers: Lexi Bellinzoni (Sophomore, A) and Emmie Keller (Freshman, D).
Coach’s Outlook for 2026: “We are ready to compete in the challenging Suburban One League American Conference. The girls have been working hard in the offseason and playing together as much as possible. We graduated some key seniors, but we return a strong group of upperclassmen who bring leadership and experience. Our goal this season is to continue building the program, compete every game, and make a strong push in the playoffs.”
