Coach’s comments:
“After a rebuilding year last season, the Coatesville girls lacrosse program enters the 2026 season with renewed energy and determination. The team used the offseason to focus on conditioning, stick skills, and building stronger team chemistry, and the hard work has already begun to show.
“The players have been committed throughout the winter, putting in extra time to prepare for a competitive schedule ahead. That dedication paid off early as the team opened preseason play with a strong 16–5 scrimmage win over Upper Merion, demonstrating improved communication, confidence, and execution on both ends of the field.
“The Raiders will lean on several key returning players this season. At midfield, Kaylee Harvey, Reagan Turner, and Myra Mautukaitis provide leadership, speed, and strong draw play. On the offensive end, Kelsey Gathercole and Parker Snyder return to lead the attack and help generate scoring opportunities. Defensively, Kylie Irwin anchors the back line with her toughness and field awareness, while junior goalkeeper Claire Myers returns in net and will be a key presence for the defense.
“While there is still work to be done, the progress from last season is clear. With a growing core of experienced players and a group that continues to push each other every day, the Coatesville girls are focused on building momentum and competing at a high level throughout the 2026 season.”
