Temple women’s lacrosse opened its season with a 12–10 victory over visiting Delaware on Friday afternoon at Howarth Field. Sabrina Martin led the Owls with four goals, while Lexi Culp (Cardinal O’Hara) recorded a hat trick and two assists. Six different Owls scored in the season opener.

Martin continued her momentum into the fourth quarter, scoring just 34 seconds in to cut the deficit to two. Goals from Culp, Martin, and Brooke Mazzei, all before the 10-minute mark, gave Temple its first lead of the game, 10–9.
