From Press Release
Blue Star Lacrosse has launched a formal search for a Girls Director – All-Star Program, a full-time leadership position within one of the region’s most established and respected lacrosse organizations.
This role represents a rare, full-time opportunity in the lacrosse world for a high-level coach and leader ready to step into a position of real responsibility, ownership, and long-term growth. The Girls Director will play a central role in shaping the daily experience, culture, and future direction of the Blue Star Girls program.
The position is an in-office and on-field role based out of Blue Star’s office and indoor training space in Medford, NJ, and is supported by a dedicated, full-time administrative and coaching staff across both the boys and girls sides of the organization. This structure allows directors to focus on leadership, development, and people, not just logistics.
The Girls Director will work closely with Blue Star’s senior leadership team, including Don Green, founder of Blue Star Lacrosse, who has built more than a decade of success centered on developing lacrosse players and guiding student-athletes and their families.
Blue Star Girls currently fields year-round teams at the 2029, 2030, 2031, 2032, 2033, 2034, and 2035/36 levels, serving athletes across multiple stages of development. The program continues to grow with strong participation, committed families, and a clearly defined development pathway.
The Blue Star Girls coaching staff is deep and experienced, featuring current high school and college coaches, college players, and dedicated professionals with strong playing and coaching backgrounds. Many staff members also support local rec lacrosse programs, helping strengthen the broader lacrosse community throughout the region.
Blue Star is taking a thoughtful and intentional approach to this search, with an emphasis on leadership ability, organizational skill, cultural alignment, and long-term fit. For the right candidate, this role offers the chance to lead a premier girls program, work within a professional club infrastructure, and make a lasting impact in the girls lacrosse space.
Cover letters and resumes may be sent directly to Marty Kupprion (martykupprion@bluestarlacrosse.com) at Blue Star Lacrosse for consideration.
Additional details will be shared as the search process continues.
