Wings open NLL season with 8-7 victory over Colorado Mammoth

The Philadelphia Wings kicked off their 2025-26 NLL season in dramatic fashion, edging the Colorado Mammoth, 8-7, today at Xfinity Mobile Arena.

Newly acquired Wings forward Eric Fannell wasted no time making his presence felt, scoring the first goal of the game. He and Joe Resetarits finished with two goals as the Wings held as big as an 8-4 lead before holding off a late Mammoth (1-1) challenge.

Nick Damude had 52 saves for the Wings.

The Philadelphia Wings hit the road for next week’s matchup against the Rochester Knighthawks on Saturday, December 20.
