February 6, 2025 by Chris Goldberg

Phillylacrosse.com, Posted 2/7/25 – From Press Release

The Tewaaraton Foundation is pleased to announce the 2025 Tewaaraton Award Men’s and Women’s Watch Lists presented by Stifel. The lists include the top players in college lacrosse and highlight the early contenders for the 2025 Tewaaraton Award.

The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse players in the United States. The selection committees are made up of premier collegiate coaches and are appointed annually by The Tewaaraton Foundation.

The 2025 Watch Lists include three returning Tewaaraton Finalists: Cornell’s CJ Kirst (2023) on the men’s side, and Loyola’s Chase Boyle (2024) and Northwestern’s Madison Taylor (2024) on the women’s side. Boston College and Northwestern lead the women’s list with five players each among 26 schools represented, while Notre Dame leads the men’s list with four players among 28 schools represented.

“As presenting sponsor of The Tewaaraton Award, we’re excited about the start of another great college lacrosse season and look forward to following these exceptional student-athletes on their road to team and individual success,” said Ron Kruszewski, Chairman and CEO, Stifel. “We’re also thrilled to begin the second year of our partnership with The Tewaaraton Foundation, which has done so much to elevate the sport of lacrosse and honor its Native American heritage.”
