Parkland 2026 midfield/defender Addi Winfield has been named the Michael Pansini Memorial Scholar-Athlete of the Week.

The award recognizes senior and junior lacrosse players who excel in academics, service, and athletics.

Honoree Questions:

How do you define leadership? “I define leadership as a person’s ability to not only be a leader on the field but off the field as well. Leading by example helps to encourage others to be their best selves in all aspects of life and be successful. A good leader also helps support their team in their best and most difficult situations. As a leader I know that everyone has good and bad days and it is most important for a leader to support and encourage others at all times.”

How do you balance academics, service, and athletics? “Balancing academics, service, and athletics can be very challenging. Having good time management skills is the key to my success. I am always preparing in advance whether it’s for a test, game, or volunteer work. I also have great teachers, coaches, and parents who have supported me through everything. This has led to my success on the field and in school.”
What are your future goals? “My future goals include being a verbal commit to play lacrosse at La Salle University while studying in a science related field, while continuing to be an active contributor to my high school lacrosse program.”
